  2. Log in early for your telehealth appointment. We recommend using a smartphone or tablet for your telehealth appointment, but a laptop or computer with a webcam and headset or speakers can also be used.

  • When prompted, click the “Join With Video” button.

FAQs

Q: WHAT IS A TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENT?

A: A telehealth appointment is like an in-person visit, except it is done through a smartphone or webcam. Once logged into ZOOM, you can launch your appointment.  Once selected, confirm the details of your visit, and go to the virtual waiting room. A: Your provider will develop a treatment plan. When appropriate, your provider will order a prescription. It is the same quality of care as if you were in the office.

Q: HOW MUCH WILL THE SERVICE COST?

A: Telehealth appointments are processed through your insurance carrier as a regular office visit with your provider. You can expect the same copay and/or coinsurance to apply.

Q: IF I HAVE ANY ISSUES CONNECTING DURING THE TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENT, HOW DO I GET HELP?

A: Our support team has you covered! You can reach them by calling 865-351-6644. If you become disconnected from your provider during your visit and are unable to reconnect, your provider will call you at the number you provided at the start of the video visit.

Q: WHAT DO I NEED FOR TELEHEALTH VIDEO APPOINTMENTS OTHER THAN A CAMERA AND MICROPHONE?

A: For the best experience, we recommend using Chrome or Firefox as your browser on a desktop for using ZOOM. A: When appropriate, yes. Your provider will determine the best course of action just like an in-person visit. Prescriptions can be sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choosing.
