Dr. Eric Nicely has been practicing general urology in Knoxville since 1994. He specializes in artificial sphincter implants for stress urinary incontinence and in penile prosthesis implant for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. His areas of interest include bladder and prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, Peyronie’s disease, male infertility, testicular pain, and low testosterone. Dr. Nicely also treats female pelvic health conditions, interstitial cystitis, and male and female incontinence. He performs the UroLIft® and Rezum® procedures for BPH/enlarged prostate, and advanced treatments for overactive bladder (OAB) including BOTOX®.
Dr. Nicely served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve and retired as a Major in the Medical Corps. He is a veteran of the Gulf War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, which is awarded outstanding achievement or meritorious service, and the Army Commendation Medal that is awarded to personnel for heroism, meritorious achievement or meritorious service. He served as a clinical instructor in surgery for the Uniformed Services University Center for the Health Sciences.
Dr. Nicely was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society in 1984. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
