Tennessee Urology offers a comprehensive pelvic floor therapy program for men and women living with and managing pelvic health issues. Our pelvic health therapists specialize in providing non-surgical and non-medication therapies for the treatment of chronic pelvic and urologic conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic disorders, as well as pre- and post-operative care for prostate cancer patients. Our experienced pelvic health therapists also provide patients with non-surgical treatments for pelvic health disorders that are related to complex conditions such as spinal cord injuries, musculoskeletal issues, and neuromuscular disorders including Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis.

Pelvic health therapists are trained to identify and treat the underlying causes of symptoms and pain. While medications can temporarily alleviate symptoms of common pelvic conditions such as bladder control issues or chronic pain, pelvic health therapy focuses on identifying the root cause of the problem. Our therapists perform comprehensive physical evaluations and diagnostics to determine the underlying cause of symptoms to deliver targeted treatment that will restore function and quality of life for the long term.
